Fishers, Indiana
The town of Fishers, Indiana contacted CleanWater
Ozone with problems controlling the hydrogen sulfide and one of
the main lift stations. After installing an ozone odor control system
in 1995, hydrogen sulfide problems as well as odor have no longer
been an issue.
Superintendent of the wastewater treatment plant,
Michael Davis, writes, “The use of ozone in controlling the
hydrogen-sulfide problems that we were experiencing at our lift
stations has been a success. We find serviceability of the units
to be simple and without the continued need of chemicals for treatment,
the cost of these units for odor control is nominal compared to
most chemical feed systems.” |
